You may see prices as low as $6,000 at other Canadian clinics, which usually reflect a shorter procedure done under local anaesthetic only, in a non-accredited treatment room, without the anaesthetist’s fee or the operating facility fee included. Our starting cost is all-in: surgeon’s fee, anaesthesia, accredited operating facility, pre-op and post-op visits are all in the number. There is no second invoice.

That is $4,000 above a lift alone, which covers the longer operating time, the implants themselves and the two-stage planning that goes into placing implants under a lifted breast. Form-stable gummy bear, round and anatomical implants all start at the same fee.

Typically, at our clinic, a breast lift combined with fat grafting costs $14,500 CAD before HST as a starting price. Fat is harvested from the abdomen, flanks or thighs via liposuction and transferred into the breast to add natural volume without an implant. Surgery runs about 3 hours. If you want implants and fat together (the hybrid approach), that starts at $18,500.
How much is a breast lift with internal bra?
Typically, at our clinic, a breast lift with an internal bra costs $15,500 CAD before HST as a starting price. The internal bra is a surgical mesh (we use Galaflex) placed inside the breast at the time of lift to support the shape long-term. For patients who already have breast surgery planned and want to add internal bra support, the Galaflex add-on is $5,000 on top of the primary breast lift fee.

Breast lift pricing is not a single number. The final cost moves on six variables, and your written quote reflects each one honestly after your in-person consultation.

Consultation fee
Typically, at our clinic, an aesthetic consultation costs $100 plus HST. The fee is confirmed when you book. The consultation includes an in-person assessment with Dr. Mark McRae or Dr. Matthew McRae, your surgical plan and a detailed written quote valid for one year. You take the quote home. There is no pressure to decide on the day.

Your surgical balance can be paid as a single lump sum before surgery, or financed monthly through one of our financing partners.

Does OHIP cover a breast lift?
No. A breast lift for cosmetic reasons is not covered by OHIP or by any provincial health plan in Canada. The one exception is breast reconstruction after mastectomy, which is an insured service in Ontario. A reconstructive mastopexy performed as part of symmetrising surgery after cancer treatment can be covered under OHIP when a referral is in place.
If any part of your care may be covered by insurance, we confirm it in writing before you commit to anything. Patients travelling from outside Ontario should check with their provincial health plan and private insurer separately.
Private health insurance
Most Canadian private health insurance plans do not reimburse cosmetic breast lift surgery, but they may cover:
- Prescription medications in your recovery
- Compression garments beyond what is included in your fee
- Physiotherapy or scar-management treatments
- Travel insurance for out-of-town patients

Is HST charged on breast lift surgery?
Yes. Cosmetic breast lift surgery is subject to HST on top of the surgical fee. In Ontario that is 13 percent. On a $10,500 lift, that is $1,365 in tax. HST is not included in any starting cost on this page because the rate differs by province. Your written quote shows the pre-tax price, the HST line, and the total.
